The Leader Behind the Framework
I didn't run for office.
I ran because nobody else would.
It started with a food truck law. Every time I brought it up in Dumfries, Virginia, someone said "somebody should do something about that." Until one day I looked around the room and realized — I was somebody.
That frustration became eight years of elected leadership, $7 million in state appropriations for a town most people couldn't find on a map, and a leadership framework I've been teaching ever since.
